10 Goals for 2010

Happy New Year!! 2010 is going to be my BEST year yet – I can just feel it.

10 Goals for 2010

1. Run 1,000 miles
2. Train for and complete a Half-Ironman (June 12, 2010)
3. Marry the man of my dreams (July 3, 2010)
4. Run my 1st Marathon
5. Qualify for the Boston Marathon
6. Run a 5k and PR
7. Run a half-marathon and PR (best time: 1:45:02)
8. PR in an International/Olympic distance triathlon (best time: 2:39:39)
9. Complete a century ride (100 miles on a bike…yikes!)
10. Be an inspiration to others through the Brooks I.D. program and other volunteer opportunities (involving the local running community)

What are your goals? What inspires you?

I’m so excited for what 2010 brings!!

    you're going to love the marathon and century ride. i also posted my races & goals last night, including another marathon and half ironman, and my first century ride.

  13. Are those in order of importance??? Because I would certainly put #3 at #1! Ha, kidding!! those are some great goals….. my goals are simple! To wake up each day a little happier and healthier than the last!!

  14. have run 3 bostons (ran with charities aka not a fast runner) and have to say that it blows all others out of the water! best of luck!!

  17. A couple of my goals are also the same as yours. Run 1000 miles, PR in the 5K and qualify for Boston.

  21. Seriously… those are some insane goals! Good for you!!! What marathon are you planning on??? Any out west? I"ve done most of the eastern half of the country– plus CA, NV, and a few others. Lemme know!

    If you can qualify for the Boston Marathon..you can ride a century:) I love cycling way more than I love running! I just can't seem to love distance running but I love love love distance cycling?!??!

    I have a similar marrying goal, I have a date set, wedidng song, dress, and everything, just gotta find a groom. J/K, about most of it =P

    My goals are to run for more than 2 miles without dry heaving, and I'm imspired, and slightly intimidated, by people such as yourself. Amazing stats and story!
